Hi, I’m Sam, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Training (LPC-IT). I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a certificate in Trauma-Informed Care from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee.
Before becoming a counselor, I spent several years as an intervention teacher supporting students in grades 1–8 with social, emotional, behavioral, and academic skills. That background deeply informs my work today.
I primarily work with children and adolescents, and I have counseling experience with clients ages 6–11. I specialize in supporting young people navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, family dynamics, interpersonal relationships, and emotional regulation.
My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a values-based approach that helps clients develop psychological flexibility and live more meaningful lives, even in the face of difficult emotions.
I’m passionate about creating a safe, affirming space where children and teens feel seen, heard, and empowered to grow.
I practice under the direct supervision of Julianne Morrison MS LPC, NCC and work out of the Germantown office. I also take virtual appointments.
Please call or email to set up an appointment. I look forward to working with you!
