Hi, I’m Miranda!
Allowing yourself to be vulnerable and ask for support is a huge step and you should be proud of yourself! I think that it is important that you feel connected to your therapist and I strive to create a welcoming environment that is a safe space and free of judgment to allow you to be your true self. This allows for us to build an authentic relationship and for there to be a great partnership where we can work together to help you become the best version of you! I will be there to guide you in reaching your goals, overcoming overwhelming and difficult situations, and supporting you in enhancing your overall wellbeing.
I believe that each person is unique and therefore my therapeutic approach is an integration of person-centered, DBT, CBT, solution-focused and mindfulness techniques. I like to tailor my approach to each person based on their individual wants and needs.
I graduated from Alverno College in spring of 2022 with a Master’s degree in Community Psychology. I obtained my Bachelors in Human Services from UW-Oshkosh in 2017 and have been working in the mental health field since then. I have worked in residential and community service settings and I have experience working with both adolescents and adults and have spent time working with birthing people who struggle with perinatal mood disorders.
My specialties and/or areas of interest include: Trauma and Generational Trauma, Life Transitions, Depression, Anxiety, Mood Disorders, Self-esteem, LGBTQ+, Perinatal Mood Disorders
I am a firm believer that to do the best work, we need to find a therapist that is the best fit for us! If you are interested in working with me, I do offer a free 15-minute consultation via phone call or email.
Miranda works out of the Mayville and West Bend offices. Please email or call to schedule an appointment with Miranda.
