Meghan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Substance Abuse Counselor - In Training. She received a masters degree in social work from UW-Madison in 2014. Following graduation, Meghan practiced as a DPI licensed school social worker for five years, working primarily with elementary aged youth experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges. She has extensive experience working in emergency mental health and crisis intervention, mental health commitment case management, and the voluntary psychosocial rehabilitation program, Comprehensive Community Services (CCS). Meghan volunteered with her local domestic abuse and sexual assault crisis line and provided direct support to victims during a SANE.

Mental health and substance use recovery looks different for everyone. Meghan meets clients where they are, partnering alongside them on their personal journey utilizing a non-judgmental, person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma informed approach. She also incorporates mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and CBT techniques. Meghan understands the importance of human interactions and recognizes that the biggest catalyst for healthy change is often sparked by a positive connection with another person.
