“People who do not find time for recreation, are obliged sooner or later, to make time for illness.”

It's impossible to travel 1,800 miles on a quarter tank of gas. Our vehicles would fail to arrive at their destinations without sufficient fuel. Just as the gas tanks in our vehicles require proper maintenance to move, so do we as humans. Yet often times, we navigate the days of our lives with our “emotional tanks” lacking proper fuel. We neglect our engines (lack of self-care), and in turn, our mental stability “locks up” like a car with no oil. As such, we prevent ourselves from arriving at our own destinations (goals). You've driven far enough without proper maintenance, it's time to pull over and refuel; LaQuita offers that assistance.

LaQuita is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who received her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Alverno College and her Master of Social Work Degree in Mental and Behavioral Health with a concentration in Substance Abuse, from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
