Connie is a Licensed Professional Counselor and is training to be a Registered Play Therapist under the supervision of Dr. Jennifer Dougherty, PhD, LPC-S, RPT-S. Connie holds a Master of Science degree in Professional Counseling with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health from Mount Mary University.
Connie uses Play Therapy with children 12 and younger. Connie has a background in mental health needs related to disabilities and chronic illness, disability awareness and acceptance, navigating school and community environments with a disability, and major life transitions such as transitioning from the K-12 school system to post-secondary training programs.
