Marlene is a genuine, warm, and caring person. She chose to work in nursing to help people pursue their best life possible. She has worked in the field of nursing for over 25 years with all ages and in many different settings, including, hospitals, urgent care, and academia. Throughout her career, she has found that one’s physical health is often affected by their mental health, and she wanted to help make a difference in these needs as well. Because of this, Marlene decided to pursue her passion and focus her attention on the mental health needs of her clients. Marlene completed her Master of Science degree in Nursing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2023.
Prior to this, Marlene graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from UW-Oshkosh in 1997. She then pursued her Master of Science degree in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from UW-Milwaukee, graduating in 2002.
Marlene’s interests include helping adolescents and adults suffering from anxiety, depression, and ADHD. Her framework involves getting to know her clients through a therapeutic, client-centered approach.
