All people are capable of change. With her firm beliefs in empowering others to make their own choices, Jaime emphasizes individual strengths and focuses on thought patterns to foster positive transformation. Jaime specializes in working with adults (18 and older) with trauma and will also work with adults that present a variety of different focus points including, though not limited to, anxiety, depression, grief, substance use disorders, self-worth, women’s issues, PTSD and other trauma responses.
Jaime graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 2008 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 2019 with a Master of Social Work – Clinical Mental Health graduate degree. She holds a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor license.
Jaime is a huge advocate for trauma-responsive care and is certified in EMDR for trauma therapy. A variety of other modalities of treatment are used, including cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy, to best suit the needs of the person she is working with.
