Hi! I’m Denelle. I commend you for doing your research on finding a therapist! I would describe my energy as warm, relaxed, and down-to-earth. I primarily work from a person-centered approach, which means treating you like an individual first who has unique experiences that inform our work together. From there, I draw on Brainspotting, ACT, and CBT to help strengthen the mind-body connection, process past and present issues, and build skills that support and maintain your wellness.

I enjoy working with people navigating trauma and PTSD, new moms experiencing postpartum challenges, young adults and those moving through life transitions, and cancer survivors, patients, and caregivers. I am a fierce LGBTQI+ ally who believes in gender affirming care and providing a safe space for those individuals. I also support clients dealing with anxiety, depression, and the everyday heaviness that comes with being human.

I completed both my undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee with plenty of life lived in between. Outside the therapy room, you can usually find me reading, spending time with my family, planning my next trip, or unwinding with a little gaming.
