If you are contacting me regarding an emergency, including a last-minute cancellation, please do not use e-mail. I do not check e-mail daily. I generally respond to e-mail messages within 48 hours.
Alexandra is a Licensed Professional Counselor who enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults who present with a wide range of clinical needs. She creates a safe and warm environment for each individual who walks into her office. Alexandra uses a multifaceted, client-centered counseling approach that is tailored to her clients’ specific needs, unique personalities, and current situations. She works alongside her clients to identify challenges and set goals. She then uses whatever style of therapy is best for each individual, including cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
Alexandra fosters a therapeutic relationship where she offers emotional support, insight, and clinical skills. She aims to empower individuals with what they need to live a flourishing life, including strength to face hardships, support to make difficult changes, and space to find healing. She places an emphasis on using your strengths to overcome challenges, building a strong sense of self, and celebrating growth.
Alexandra studied psychology and neuroscience during her undergraduate studies at Wheaton College before receiving her Master of Science in clinical mental health counseling from Marquette University. She has experience working as a crisis counselor at the Crisis Resource Center, which is a part of Milwaukee Center for Independence.
Alexandra works out of the Cedarburg office.
