Hello! My name is Ross Beattie. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in training (LPC-IT). I obtained my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Winona State University.
In therapy, I use a strength-based, person-centered, empathic approach. My theories include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Interventions, and Person-Centered Therapy. I believe building a strong and empathic therapeutic relationship is important. My goal is to create an environment that makes you feel heard and safe to talk about any past or current stressors. I believe there is growth to be had for both the therapist and the client, and my goal is to grow with you as we work together collaboratively.
