Hi, I'm Kayla!

I received my bachelor’s degree from University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, with a major in psychology and a minor in criminal justice. After this, I attended UW-Milwaukee to earn my Masters in social work. During my schooling, I obtained my Substance Abuse Counselor-In Training license and also my Trauma Informed Care Certificate. I worked in a Community Support Program in Milwaukee, then as a Crisis Social Worker. I continue to volunteer for the Big Brother Big Sister Program where I have been matched with my “little” for 8 years now.

One of the most important parts of therapy is feeling connected with your therapist. When you come to therapy, I want to create a safe space in a judgement free zone. I want you to be your true authentic self, and come as you are. We will work together so you can see your true potential, and we will work through whatever stressors you are facing.

I enjoy working with all ages, and have experience working with anxiety, depression, psychosis, trauma, AODA, life transitions, and self esteem concerns. I am based out of the Mayville location and offer online, weekend and evening sessions to make therapy convenient and accessible.
