Katie joins the KMC team with past experience working with children and families through all aspects of the foster care system. Her favorite part of social work is meeting and interacting with the children and families that come looking for support and being a part of their journey in reaching their goals. Katie holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from Minnesota State University-Mankato and a master’s degree in social work from the University of New England. She also holds an Advanced Practice Social Work license through the state of Wisconsin and is currently a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in training.

When working with her clients, Katie utilizes a variety of treatment approaches, usually to reflect the needs and wishes of the client to reach the end goal of treatment. She specializes in working with children, from toddler age to teen. Her areas of focus include anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, stress, school-related issues, behavioral issues, and self-esteem.

Katie is under direct supervision by Julianne Morrison LPC NCC, and works out of the West Bend office.
